“…Yes, because God’s your refuge,
the High God your very own home,
Evil can’t get close to you,
harm can’t get through the door.
He ordered his angels…”
to guard you wherever you go. (The Message)
The Secret Service of the United States is tasked with protecting our nations leaders, including the President, Vice President and their immediate families. The agency also protects former Presidents, their spouses and minor children to age 16; along with major presidential and vice presidential candidates and their spouses; just to name a few. Simply by virtue of the individual’s position, regardless of party or ethnic affiliation, these persons are entitled to this protection.
You, my friend, who has made the Lord your “dwelling place” and “refuge’ are entitled to no less than an ” innumerable company of angels”.
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels. Hebrews 12:22 (KJV)
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Hebrews 1:13-14 (KJV)
Angels are on God’s payroll assigned to you for the specific purpose to protect and keep you in “all your ways”. When you’ve done all you need to do to protect yourself; when you’ve taken every precaution necessary, angels protect you from what you cannot see. You didn’t know that the person who pumped gas before you left COVID-19 droplets on the handle. But one of your innumerable angels, in his Secret Service role, pre-scouted and sanitized the area before you got there. Praise God for His divine protection. When you dwell in the secret place of the most high, you’re entitled to top flight security.
Another role of the Secret Service of the is the protection of the financial systems of the United States from fraudulent and counterfeit activity. How much more can the God of all creation, who knows everything guard your finances as well. Take courage and be of good cheer. God’s got you.
