Proverbs 31:10b “…her price is far above rubies.”
The bible says when a man finds a wife, he finds a good thing and has received favor from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22). Everything that God created has a purpose. The family unit was orchestrated by God as His instrument for duplicating Himself in the earth realm. It doesn’t mean that every person should or desires to be married. But God’s plan does center around the family.
So how can you tell if a man has found his wife? First, He stops looking! The parable of the lost sheep, lost coin, and lost son all demonstrate this truth. In each case, when what was lost was found, the search halted and a celebration ensued. Secondly, a man has found his wife when he realizes she is a helper suitable for him. She simply makes him better, builds him up, inspires him. Kind of what the Holy Spirit does for the believer. He causes us to be what we were unable to be without His presence.
Two are indeed better than one. So ladies, if he’s still looking, this ain’t that. Gentlemen, if you’re still looking, then stop wasting her time and yours.
