Nothing satisfies the taste buds like a well made pound cake. Especially when its warm with your favorite ice cream on the side…or maybe you prefer yours with a glass of milk.  Ugh!!!! (to each, his own I guess)   If you look closely at the ingredients, you will notice that none of them would taste good by themselves.  In fact, some of them are down right nasty.  What person in their right mind would enjoy munching on some baking soda?  But blended together, following the recipe, you come up with a beautiful delicious treat that will definitely be a blessing.

There are things that may happen in your life that are not so good.  Tragedy, poverty, lack, sickness or disease, are all things we would rather not have to deal with.  Sometimes life itself can be so hard and bitter.  It is in those times we should remember this:

All things work together for good to them that love the Lord….

Everything in your life is just an ingredient that when properly blended together produces God’s intended outcome.  Even those things the enemy introduces, God
turns it around for your good. What a mighty God we serve! He  gave us the ultimate cook book (His Word). In it is the recipe for any life to be a blessing!

  1. Heyyyyyy!! Good word and I needed that,I try not to be bitter, but it just is not working at this moment. But I do know God causes all things to work together for our good, what would we do without Him being on our side. Fredrick it’s so good to hear from you,and I hope all is well your way.
