Making A Difference

It has been said that together we can accomplish more. That statement is true. But can I offer you the encouragement that one man or woman can make a difference. In the book of Exekiel the Lord searched for one person who would stand in the gap and intercede for the people that they would not be destroyed but found none. Could it be because no one felt their efforts would be good enough? We have several examples in the Bible of people making a difference. Remember Paul and Silas when thy were beaten and thrown in prison. The held an impromptu prayer meeting with much praise and worship causing an earthquake which not only set them free but everyone else in the jail as well. The jailer who witnessed this got saved and so did his entire household. Two people praising God in dire circumstances caused a turnaround Maybe God hasn’t moved you from where you are yet because there is a life or two that you need to impact. Its when people see the power of God working in your life that they want what you have. I guarantee you that a praying mail clerk in the right place can turn a company around, saving himself and others from being down sized.
Jesus himself is the best example. I hear you saying, “Of course, that’s Jesus”. We must remember that Jesus was fully human, yet divine when he walked the earth. He had to be human to show us what we are capable of. By one man the planet was lost and by another human access was regained. (Romans 5) We were created in His image and after His likeness. That means we have his nature as well as His good looks! (LOL). Think about it. One man heard from God, taught the principles to 12 other men who in turn turned the world upside down. As a result, you are now in Gods family and partakers of Heaven’s best. Beloved, one believer connected to the Father is the most powerful force on earth. God gets nothing done in this realm without man’s involvement. He gave us this planet (Psalms 115:16) Will you be the one the Father can count on to make the difference in your circle of influence?

  1. So hearing from God…obeying is important! Being in the right place at the right time not only causes you to be blessed but others. Now think, when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ex. Jonah. Keep the blogs coming Man of God!!!

  2. Surely I want to be used greatly by God,and why not? God already said he changes not and that Elisha was a man just like us and he prayed and God answered,so why not us and why not now.God is able and I am expecting to witness some great things while being used too.
    Wonderful post my brother 😀
