Open the eyes of my heart Lord, that I may behold the wonders of your word. Teach me your way and I will keep it to the end. Give me understanding that I may observe your law with my whole heart. I take pleasure in your commandments, for your path is best for me. Mold my heart to your truth and not the deceitfulness of the enemy. Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless, nonproductive things and make me alive to your principles and precepts. May I be established, firmly rooted in your law because I desire to please you. Forever, Oh Lord is your word settled in heaven. It is active and produces power in the earth. Order my steps in your word Lord, and I declare that no iniquity has dominion over me. Deliver me from people; may I trust you and you alone.
